What we use instead
For analytics we use Plausible, which is cookieless and GDPR-compliant by design. It counts page views and country, anonymously. No persistent identifier is stored on your device.
When you go to checkout
Stripe — our payment processor — sets functional cookies on its own domain when you're on a Stripe-hosted checkout page. These are required for the payment to work. They're not set on thespins.uk. Stripe's cookie policy applies on Stripe pages.
Embedded content
If we embed an Instagram post, a Spotify playlist, or a YouTube video, those services may set their own cookies when the embed loads. We try to avoid embeds — when we use them, we'll note it on the page.
